How a Belgian dentist ended up setting “Fastest Known Times” on two of the world’s most epic trails.

Karel Sabbe

ENGLISCH

29-year-old Belgian ultrarunner Karel Sabbe will talk about his drives of becoming the world’s best ultra-distance runner. He’ll talk about how a body reacts to having to run a double marathon a day for a seemingly endless time, and how you can trick your mind into carrying on.
He ran speed records on the 4300 km long Pacific Crest Trail, 3500 km long Appalachian Trail and is currently training to run the length of New Zealand along the 3054 km long Te Araroa Trail.
